Give to Create Healthy Futures
Every child deserves to feel safe and supported. Yet too many children in Colorado have experienced trauma and instability that make it hard to trust or belong.
At Tennyson Center for Children, we provide the care and connection that help children and families rebuild their lives. Across our Therapeutic K–12 School, Day Treatment and Residential Programs, and Community Based Program that supports families in communities statewide, we walk alongside children and caregivers as they find hope and healing together.
Cottages of Hope: Where Healing Feels Like Home
This year, your gifts support Cottages of Hope, a transformational campaign to renovate and reimagine Tennyson’s on-campus cottages into warm, nurturing homes where children who have experienced severe trauma, abuse, and neglect can finally feel safe and begin to heal.
For many of the children we serve, these cottages become the first real home they’ve ever known and a place to rest and reclaim joy.
Your generosity helps us provide calming bedrooms, cozy spaces, and therapeutic environments that foster connection and stability.

This program allows individuals, estates, trusts, and corporations to claim a 50% credit on qualifying monetary gifts (up to $100,000) made to Tennyson Center for Children. Combined with other deductions, this often means you can donate three times the size of gift with the same cost to you.
Example: A $1,000 gift can cost you as little as $300 after your Colorado tax credit.
To learn more about how the credit works or to confirm eligibility, please contact Nick Wininger at [email protected] or call 720-855-3317.
