Justin Apt

Justin has been involved with Tennyson Center for 10 years, starting with the Q&Brew event. He is passionate about the work Tennyson is doing for our community’s most at-risk children.

Justin is a Managing Principal of Private Capital Management. He oversees the firm’s operation and helps to shape its strategy, culture, and vision. Before joining Private Capital Management, Justin was an investment committee member, Portfolio Manager, and Head Trader at Palo Alto-based Nelson Capital Management, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wells Fargo. Preceding his time with Nelson Capital, he was an investment committee member and Head Trader with Beekman Capital Management, LLC in Santa Fe, NM.

A native of Denver, he has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Accounting from The Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. Justin is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charter holder and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Colorado. Justin is also on the Regis Jesuit High School Endowment Committee.
