A Message from James Young, Interim CEO of Tennyson Center for Children

Dear Tennyson Community,

I want to thank you for your continued support of Tennyson Center for Children. As you know, Tennyson has taken care of some of the most vulnerable kids in our state for the past 117 years. The goal of the hard work we do every day is to help children and families build bright futures and realize the infinite possibilities in their lives.

I cannot stress enough how devoted our staff are to the children and families we serve, nor how strong and dedicated our children and families are to their healing work. While the work is never perfect, we believe in it, and want to share an important message with you in response to the narratives you may have seen regarding child welfare and residential facilities in the news this week.
