Immediate Past Board Chair
Rev. Reginald Chapman Sr.
Rev. Reginald (Reggie) Chapman Sr. holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Divinity from the Iliff School of Theology. Reggie has been the Pastor of Lakewood Christian Church (DOC) for the past 13 years, where he leads his congregation in faith and involvement in the community.
Serving on The Tennyson Center for Children’s Board of Directors as the Board Chair allows Reggie to help at-risk children and their families. In addition to working with TCC, Lakewood Christian Church (LCC) works with Family Promise of Denver to help homeless families with a place to stay as they look for jobs and housing. Reggie has spearheaded a program with Vivian Elementary school to help fill gaps for both teachers and children due to the education sector’s financial shortfalls. Working with these partnerships help LCC serve its mission to love their neighbor.
Reggie is a husband of 44 years and a father of four children, and a grandfather of five. He is an Adjunct Instructor at the Iliff School of Theology, a member of the board of directors for the Christian Church Foundation, which manages investments for churches and non-profits, and a past Moderator for the board of directors of Central Rocky Mountain Region of the Christian Church Disciples of Christ.
