Help from the Community: Making a Difference
Community help is a key component to the success of the work we do. The effects of child abuse on a community are long-lasting, so its important for the community to be an integral part of the healing process of the kids we serve. There are so many ways in which you can make a difference in the life of an abused, neglected or at-risk child. Our ability to provide those children with the care which will help them heal is largely dependent upon the financial resources available. WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW!
Online Donation for Charity
Your online donation for charity helps in so many ways. Government funding for the kinds of services we offer has declined in recent years so we must rely even more on the generosity, philanthropy and caring hearts of people just like you. Without adequate funding, the children are the ones who will ultimately suffer. Without your support, they are at risk of not getting the kind of help we offer which will ensure that they can one day live satisfying and fulfilling lives as adults. Supporters of Tennyson Center for Children may now qualify for a 50% state income tax credit in addition to the regular state and federal tax deductions. The Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit (CCCC) promotes chidcare activities statewide, and Colorado Department of Revenue approved contributions for our residential treatment programs qualify for this credit. Without the help of our corporate sponsors, much of our work would be impossible. A large portion of our volunteer base comes from the staff of local businesses and corporations as well as members of local clubs organizations who donate their time to help with activities affiliated with our in-kind giving programs such as Operation Santa, Stuff-the-Bus, and our annual "back-to-school-clothes" shopping drive for the children. For more information about corporate partnerships, call Heather Savoca at 720.855.3316.
