Operation Santa Data Entry Position
This is a temporary, part-time position that supports the “Operation Santa” program at Tennyson Center for Children. The length of the position is 10.5 weeks and will begin mid-October and end December 23rd, 2014. The position will begin with 2 to 3 days a week in October, then 3 to 4 days a week in November and December, 6 hours per day – 9:00am to 4:00pm with a one hour lunch. The position will assist the Operation Santa Manager with data entry and other clerical duties. Seeking candidates with strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and Access. Clinician-Special Services Unit
Clinician responsible for providing family, individual and group therapy as well as clinical case management for high acuity clients (ages 5-18) in a short term stabilization unit. Facilitates intakes and admissions into the SSU, screens referral calls, coordinates treatment and discharge/aftercare planning, and coordinates med reviews with the consulting psychiatrist. Participates on the pager rotation as scheduled to provide on-call crisis consultation. Must be listed on DORA as a licensed clinician LCSW/LPC/LMFT. Will consider candidates that are eligible within 6 months. Must have a minimum of two years post graduate experience treating children and families, residential or inpatient experience highly preferred. Must have strong diagnostic skills and ability to problem solve in a crisis. Strong ability to multi-task required. All candidates must have a valid Colorado Driver’s license. Occupational Therapist - PT
Contract OT to provide 10-12 hours/week (flexible schedule) of direct OT services, completes evaluations and reports and provides consultation with the Special Education teachers for elementary/MS aged students with fine and visual motor as well as sensory issues. Supervising Clinician – Day Treatment
Provides clinical supervision and management of assigned clinicians; supports and builds therapeutic milieu, group and individual stabilization programs. Maintains oversight of admissions process; course of treatment and transition/discharge planning for supervisees. Will carry a small caseload providing weekly individual, group and family therapy. Covers cases during assigned clinician’s time off. Licensed Masters level clinician required; LCSW highly preferred. Must be fully licensed on DORA at time your resume is submitted. Must have three years’ experience with special needs, preferable EBD children, including supervisory and training skills. Knowledge of family systems theory and solution focused therapy needed. Responsible for supporting and building therapeutic milieu, group and individual programs for children in residential cottages in partnership with treatment team members. Provides the supervision of the direct care staff. Provides a minimum of five hours of direct client contact each week (billing when applicable) which may include carrying cases, providing weekly group and individual therapy to assist residents who are struggling behaviorally or are in crisis, and individual, group and family therapy when assigned clinician is out of the office. Collaborates with the treatment team to coordinate discharge planning to maintain stabilization. LCSW required; Must be fully licensed and registered on DORA at the time your resume is submitted. Youth Treatment Counselors
Full-time positions that works throughout the residential campus as assigned to gain and share experience and skills with all milieus, developmental age groups (5-18) and teams. Responsible for implementing treatment and educational plans for children with multiple emotional/behavioral concerns in a structured environment. Participates in the daily supervision and care of children in the cottage. Responsible for planning and implementing therapeutic activities and groups, behavior management and crisis intervention, and teaching basic daily living skills. Will provide a therapeutic balance of nurturance and limit setting demonstrating an understanding of the emotional needs of the children. Must be 21. BA in a Human Service related field or equivalent experience required; related residential and/or day treatment experience preferred.
