Math Teacher - Middle/HS

Responsible for the development and implementation of the math curriculum to meet the needs of the children assigned to the math class.  Provides educational and treatment programming and works closely with two classroom assistants to provide classroom management and a positive learning environment. Authors IEP’s and actively participates in Educational meetings.  Works the school year plus six weeks during the summer program.    Must have a valid Colorado teaching certificate with a Special Education Generalist endorsement (or ability to obtain), and be highly qualified in Math.  Previous related classroom experience highly preferred.  All applicants must have (or ability to obtain) a valid Colorado Driver’s license.  To apply send resume to:   Employment@tennysoncenter.org

Chaplain

Our Chaplain offers leadership regarding the spiritual health of the agency and provides and coordinates pastoral care, ecumenical and interfaith activities related to the spiritual growth and or religious practices of children and families. In addition to offering pastoral care services, our Chaplain serves on our Clinical team to help families make sense of their faith as it relates to their treatment experience, and assists in identifying the interfaces of spiritual themes and clinical issues when our families can benefit from a spiritually-integrated treatment approach.  By working with the Clinical team directly, our chaplain is able to provide relevant services for spiritual development that maintain clinical value and complement the treatment process. M. Div. or commensurate, and MSW or other Clinical Masters required (license eligible.)  AAPC or CPE certification and Ecumenical experience preferred.  Two years previous experience with emotionally disturbed children preferred.  Current good standing in the Order of Ministry (or eligible to receive) of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), or equivalent good standing with another denomination.   All candidates must have (or ability to obtain) a valid Colorado driver license. Night Youth Treatment Counselors

Awake, direct care position responsible for the nightly supervision and therapeutic care of children within the residential units. Performs routine cottage housekeeping chores, consistent bed checks and implementation of a therapeutic milieu. Ability to provide a balance of nurturance and limit setting demonstrating an understanding of the emotional needs of the children and ability to follow individualized treatment programming. Works within the framework of Trauma Informed Care. Several schedules available. Requires a BA in a Human Service related field or equivalent verifiable work experience. Must have a valid Colorado driver's license. Previous inpatient or crisis treatment experience preferred. Family & School Support Specialist - Bilingual

Provide support, counseling, and interventions in the child’s home, school and/or other community locations that is focused on building children’s and caregiver’s competencies. Provide behavior management consultation, parent or life-skills training, and general support based on empowerment, strength-based and solution-focused frameworks. This includes individual support to students, behavioral consultation to teachers and school staff, classroom groups, crisis intervention, or specific services requested to assist students and families. Maintain working knowledge of community resources; ranging from food and clothing to job training & recreational programs, provide assistance and support to families enabling them to access community resources. Provides feedback to the Family Therapist in order to assist with the development of the Service Plan goals and objectives. BA degree and previous experience working with children that have experienced trauma required. Ability to work independently and provide crisis intervention required. All candidates must have a valid Colorado Driver’s license. Works a Tuesday-Saturday. Licensed Therapist - Community Based Services

Join our fast growing Community Based Team with a signing bonus! Provides in-home family therapy, individual therapy and clinical case management working collaboratively with internal and external resources in the home, school and community. Participates in the assessment with families, referral sources and admissions department. LCSW/LPC/LMFT licensure required. Must be registered on DORA. Works a Sunday through Thursday schedule; includes some evenings.  Family therapy skills and theory base required. Chief Operations Officer

Develop and implement strategic goals in collaboration with Agency’s Executive and Management Teams and Board of Directors; Direct operational departments including Human Resources, Information Technology, Facility Maintenance, Transportation, Office Support, Dietary, Purchasing, and Clothing Support; Provide legal services to agency.  Advanced degree (J.D. preferred) with at least five years progressive operational management responsibility; Demonstrated leadership, oral and written communication skills; Familiarity with non-profit organizations and professional exposure to social concerns in the community (e.g. mental health, child welfare, education); proven leadership skills. Ability to develop and implement new programs and systems.  All candidates must have (or be able to obtain) a Colorado driver’s license.

Youth Treatment Counselors

Full-time positions that works throughout the residential campus as assigned to gain and share experience and skills with all milieus, developmental age groups (5-18) and teams. Responsible for implementing treatment and educational plans for children with multiple emotional/behavioral concerns in a structured environment.  Participates in the daily supervision and care of children in the cottage. Responsible for planning and implementing therapeutic activities and groups, behavior management and crisis intervention, and teaching basic daily living skills. Will provide a therapeutic balance of nurturance and limit setting demonstrating an understanding of the emotional needs of the children. Must be 21. BA in a Human Service related field or equivalent experience required; related residential and/or day treatment experience preferred.
