BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Tennyson Center for Children is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician.  This position collaborates with supervisor and other staff to maintain a secure, safe and healthy environment throughout the agency in order to meet all health and licensing regulations.   Primary job duties include, but are not limited to the overall maintenance, repair, security and upkeep of all buildings and grounds including;  HVAC, construction, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical repairs, building construction, remodeling, upgrades and repairs, snow removal, grounds maintenance, trash removal, recycling and preventative maintenance. 
This position requires high level of customer service, ability to work inside and outside in all types of weather and the willingness to carry a cellphone to be available in case of emergency on nights and weekends.

Experience:

• Holds a High school diploma or GED.
• Has at least 5 years’ experience in a lead/independent projects position in a maintenance department, or similar.
• Possesses established skills in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work and/or any other skilled maintenance trade.

BUSINESS SUPPORT SPECIALIST I

 

Tennyson Center for Children is seeking a Business Support Specialist to provide general administrative support to the agency. They will cross-train with other Business Support Specialist positions.  Will cross train to learn EVOLV and client records support and data entry support for the Program Department.   Provide general support, including mail center duties, for all departments. 
Duties include providing agency’s faxing, scanning, copying and printing needs, and stocking/distributing office supplies. Maintaining and filing appropriate to industry standards. Filing/scanning reports, correspondence, daily logs, and similar data in active and archived files. Creating  and maintaining agency forms. Maintaining clear written standards and procedures for all schedules and notification processes and providing coverage as the receptionist at the front desk with exceptional customer service skills. 
Education and Experience Equivalencies:
• HS diploma and minimum two years office support/customer service experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. Database experience preferred
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills

Director of Admissions and Quality Assurance

Tennyson Center for Children is seeking a Director of Admissions and Quality Assurance.  This position is responsible for the operations and management of the Admissions and Quality Department.  This position oversees the centralized admission process for all programs. Provides short-term clinical service and case management to families referred, and directs inappropriate referrals to more appropriate settings.  This position also has overall responsibility of the agency’s quality assurance process and adherence to COA standards such as planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting PQI program including medical oversight and compliance. This position also has overall responsibility for and supervision of and developing positive relations with referral agencies and consumers.  As part of this role, the Director of Admissions and Quality supports business access and support for existing and potential new referral agencies, working closely with the CPO, COO, and CFO, as well as department directors.
Education and Experience:

• Must have clinical license (Psy.D, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or be able to obtain within 6 months
• Requires a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
• Family systems philosophy, demonstrated assessment skills, strong organizational skills and exceptional customer service skills required
• Social service/mental health experience is preferred
• Strong communication skills-both verbal and writing
• Requires basic computer skills and ability to learn new software. Human services software, electronic health record systems knowledge preferred

CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Tennyson Center for Children seeks a Contract Specialist to support the mission, vision and goals of the agency by developing and implementing a contract authorization process. This person in collaboration with Clinical, Admissions and Accounting staff to streamline processes and optimize billing outcomes. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract authorization and related billing processes, as well as supporting Program Directors and Chief Operating Officer as needed in renewal of overarching contracts from payers sources such as county Department of Human Services, private insurance, Medicaid, and Child Mental Health Treatment Act.

Education and Experience Equivalencies:
• Associates degree or higher. Bachelor degree preferred
• Competent with Microsoft suite of products – Intermediate or higher proficiency in Excel and Word required
• Previous experience with medical coding and/or Medicaid billing preferred
• Previous experience with social service/mental health industry preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal required.
