Math Teacher - Middle/HS
Responsible for the development and implementation of the math curriculum to meet the needs of the children assigned to the math class. Provides educational and treatment programming and works closely with two classroom assistants to provide classroom management and a positive learning environment. Authors IEP’s and actively participates in Educational meetings. Works the school year plus six weeks during the summer program. Must have a valid Colorado teaching certificate with a Special Education Generalist endorsement (or ability to obtain), and be highly qualified in Math. Chief Operations Officer
Develop and implement strategic goals in collaboration with Agency’s Executive and Management Teams and Board of Directors; Direct operational departments including Human Resources, Information Technology, Facility Maintenance, Transportation, Office Support, Dietary, Purchasing, and Clothing Support; Provide legal services to agency. Advanced degree (J.D. preferred) with at least five years progressive operational management responsibility; Demonstrated leadership, oral and written communication skills; Familiarity with non-profit organizations and professional exposure to social concerns in the community (e.g. mental health, child welfare, education); proven leadership skills. Executive Administrative Assistant
Responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Team members. Duties include scheduling meetings, prepare and distribute agendas, take minutes and coordinate room and meal arrangements. Provides high level secretarial functions, maintains the Standard Practice Bulletins and manages projects for the Board and Executive Team. Prepares and handles highly confidential information for the agency and maintains classified files. Must have two years post-high school training plus five years administrative and/or secretarial experience or HS diploma plus eight years previous related experience. Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows and PowerPoint. Raiser’s Edge highly preferred. Ability to deal with a variety of persons and situations in a professional yet personal manner. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task required. Night Youth Treatment Counselor – Special Services Unit
Awake, direct care position responsible for the nightly supervision and therapeutic care of children within the crisis stabilization unit. Performs routine cottage housekeeping chores, consistent bed checks and implementation of a therapeutic milieu. Ability to provide a balance of nurturance and limit setting demonstrating an understanding of the emotional needs of the children and ability to follow individualized treatment programming in a specialized unit. Works within the framework of Trauma Informed Care. Works a Saturday-Tuesday schedule. Requires a BA in a Human Service related field or equivalent verifiable work experience. Clinician – Residential & Day Services
Responsible for providing family, individual, and group therapy as well as case management and working with treatment teams. Coordinates case services with referring agencies, collaborative contacts and school staff. Works a Monday-Friday schedule. MSW or related graduate degree required; must be eligible for a provisional license and registered on DORA; licensure highly preferred (LCSW/LPC/LMFT). Youth Treatment Counselors – School Based
School based assistants to provide direct care to students within a self-contained classroom serving up to 12 students with mental health and/or emotional and behavioral issues. Assists with instructional activities and behavior management in keeping with each child’s IEP and treatment plans. Two positions available; one with primary/elementary aged, log cognitive students to focus on life skills and one to work with Middle/high school students. These are not masters level school counseling positions. Full-time positions that works throughout the residential campus as assigned to gain and share experience and skills with all milieus, developmental age groups (5-18) and teams. Responsible for implementing treatment and educational plans for children with multiple emotional/behavioral concerns in a structured environment. Participates in the daily supervision and care of children in the cottage. Responsible for planning and implementing therapeutic activities and groups, behavior management and crisis intervention, and teaching basic daily living skills. Will provide a therapeutic balance of nurturance and limit setting demonstrating an understanding of the emotional needs of the children. Must be 21. BA in a Human Service related field or equivalent experience required; related residential and/or day treatment experience preferred.
